Develop the titanium sector of tomorrow in France

MetaFensch, Safran, Aubert & Duval and Erasteel have signed multiple research contracts in order to develop the titanium sector of tomorrow in France.

MetaFensch, Safran, Aubert & Duval and Erasteel have decided to combine their various skills in order to further develop this important field: melting, recycling and atomization for Aubert & Duval and Erasteel; titanium alloy specifications and additive manufacturing for Safran; semi-industrial scale research and development for MetaFensch.

In order to create a French center of excellence in this field, MetaFensch has invested in two semi-industrial furnaces: one for titanium melting and recycling, the other for atomizing titanium into powder.
