Injection systems
Enhancing environmental performance with our high performance metals
Aubert & Duval is an innovative key supplier for diesel and gasoline injection systems, from small light-duty to the largest heavy-duty on-road and off-road engines. Through high performance steels, we deliver metallurgical solutions with the optimum combination of high temperature, corrosion, wear and high pressure resistance for injector parts, such as bodies, pistons, nozzles, valves and needles.
- Because new emissions standards and environmental regulations mean the mechanical properties of materials have to be continuously improved, Aubert & Duval designs and optimizes new alloys in close cooperation with customers to meet current and future requirements more closely.

Driving the future of injection systems
Going much further than service support, our technical team helps injection system and engine manufacturers choose the best high performance metals. Their expertise enables engineering, design or purchasing departments to develop tomorrow’s injection systems.
Aubert & Duval has long experience and sound expertise in developing new grades dedicated to injection systems. The latest high performance steels developed by us include:
FND®: a case hardening and trough hardening steel with excellent hardenability and high mechanical properties, dedicated to mechanical assemblies working at temperatures above 150°C.
GKP®: nitriding steel with excellent hardenability and particularly high mechanical properties, impact strength and fatigue limit, particularly suitable for the production of diesel fuel injector nozzles.
X15TN®: martensitic stainless steel combining excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness, typically 58 HRC, and very good abrasion resistance. This steel is a good choice for gasoline injection components.
