A&D's commitment to regional development has led to the establishment of a business area with a view to boosting industrialisation of the Combrailles area in the Auvergne region. The Les Ancizes plant is heavily involved in generating employment and stimulating the local economy.

Aubert & Duval is committed to supporting cultural and sporting initiatives at a local level. The Pamiers site regularly hosts a classical concert as part of the "Musique au Pays de Gabriel Fauré" Festival [Music in the birth place of Gabriel Fauré]. In the Auvergne region, A&D sponsors the Union Musicale de Combrailles, the local cinema in Les Ancizes, the USGA Sports Club (Union sportive Saint Georges-Les Ancizes) and the "Tremplin Jeunes Espoirs" youth project at the Riom Rugby Club.
