Environmental issues are integrated in all development projects undertaken by the company with a view to improving existing processes.

ISO 14001 certification is pending for all A&D sites. By 2010, all Aubert & Duval sites will need to have obtained this certification which was awarded to the Pamiers site back in 2007. Waste sorting and recovery have led to awareness programs and action plans being implemented at the plants.

Our facilities undergo continuous improvement: €8 m was recently invested at the Les Ancizes plant in a dust extraction plant designed to channel and filter smoke emissions. A liquid waste treatment plant has been set up in Pamiers. At the Firminy site plans are under way to convert lower floors to process liquid waste produced by the plant.
